Sataysfied started from working on the streets of the Mission in San Francisco. Founder Feldo Nartapura at the time was recently laid off from the economic downturn of 2008. Unemployed and struggling he decided to make ends meet and pay rent he sold food on the streets. Given the delicious authentic Indonesian satay recipes, it was a hit and well received by the San Francisco community.
With some luck he decided to apply for the Off the Grid market in Fort Mason and got in. Another break came and he also got to participate in San Francisco world’s famous concert Outside Lands.
We continue that tradition every year and please look out for us again this year. From the festivals came the transition of catering to the amazing start ups through out the Bay Area. We have served over 100,000 meals throughout the years and we are happy to feed and fuel the coders, admins, founders and innovators of the Silicon Valley. Not to mentioned all the private parties we cater to parents and kids for the citizens of the Bay Area.
What started just as a specific niche of just Indonesian food has expanded to Filipino food. Feldo fell in love with a Filipino woman which later became his wife and partner in Sataysfied Catering. Together they bring Indonesian and Filipino food from the cultures that make them who they are.
Our goal is to make sure you have a unique taste and experience through Sataysfied Catering. You won’t get the typical run of the mill sandwich and salad meal. We look forward to serving your office and party soon.
